Happy Friday everyone!!  I hope that everyone has had a great October, and are as excited as I am that it is now FRIDAY!!  :)  For us, this means Trunk or Treat tonight, so I get to race home after picking up Bubba from school, after vollyeball practice, dress him up like Batman, and my princess like Boo from Monster's Inc., and go back to work for our Trunk or Treat!  At least Bubba will be big enough this year so that he'll understand a little more of what is going on.   Plus the kids love seeing him!

I am working on getting things set up with my blog, so you can go over and Follow my blog with Bloglovin!!  I love Bloglovin' and use it on my iPad and iPhone, especially for middle of the night feedings!

Now on to what you are all here for this week, the Friday freebie!!

My kids are doing the daily 5, so I have been struggling with how to keep them accountable for what they are working on during word work.  Some of my kids are great at working the whole time, some sit and stare, and others, I don't know what they do.  I created these tic-tac-toe boards so they would have a way to show me what they did.  You can go grab them at my TPT store!

I know they helped the kids stay on track this week, and by asking them to do three activities it kept them working on their words this week.  I didn't put my spelling words on this sheet, so that way I could use the same sheets again next week, or the week after.  I may add their words, or have them write their words on the sheets, because some students would come to me every day asking for their spelling lists again because they left theirs at home.

I am going to be continuing to add on to this packet, so make sure you grab it now, while it's free!  Then you'll be able to get the updates for free as well!

Thank you all so much for coming to this awesome Friday blog hop, and I hope you keep coming back!

Make sure you go on to our next friend in the blog hop!

I am so excited to be on Fall Break this week!!  This is giving me a chance to catch up on some things.  One of the most important things to me is hanging out with my kiddos!  I am so happy that I get to spend all day with them.  (I love nap time too, so I can try and get some school work done while they are sleeping!)

My mom, little princess and I will be traveling to Northern California later this week to spend some time with family!  My husband and I moved to Arizona in 2008, and our trips back "home" have become more and more infrequent.  Especially since my parents sold their house in the spring of 2012, so that way they could move closer to us to be near their grandchildren.

It has been over a year since I was able to see my best friend from home, and she is expecting!  I can't wait to see her precious little baby bump!!

I have also been enjoying break, because I have been able to clean my house a little.  It is no where near clean, but I was able to go through Sissy's clothes, and clear out her 3 month stuff, and get it ready to ship to her god parents.  (Their daughter is just 3 months younger than ours!)  I was also able to clean out some of Bubba's stuff to get ready to give to our friends here, who have a son a year younger than ours, but wears the same size!!

Another new favorite of mine is creating stuff for TPT!!  I loved that there was a huge sale this weekend!  I was able to pick up some awesome clip art, that I am so excited to use and create new things for my classroom and for YOU!!

Check out this adorable Fall Clip art, thanks to For His Glory Teaching!!  I love it, and am so excited to be giving away a set of scoot cards on Friday!!

Come back on Friday, and go check out my TPT store to grab this Scoot game for FREE!!

I am working on a 2-digit set with regrouping, and a 3-digit set with regrouping.  Currently the 3-digit set is already done, I just have to finish uploading it all to TPT.

I hope that the rest of you on Fall Break are able to do some relaxing, and enjoy your time off as well. For those of you teaching this week, I hope that you all have amazing weeks!!
Happy Friday everyone!!

I hope that you are all as excited as I am to check out the Friday freebies this week!!

I know that all of the teachers participating have been working hard to make sure that we have some awesome products for you!

It has been a very productive week for me.  My kiddos have been doing standardized testing, which means we don't do much else during our school days.  This has left me with evenings to work on the blog, and a TPT store!!

I started my store last week, and am excited to be sharing this week's freebie for you through TPT!

If you use the Daily 5 then you will want this recording sheet to help you keep track of what stations your kids go to.  I don't have enough time during my reading block to have them go to all 5 stations, so this helps me keep track of where they go each day, so I know if I need to encourage them to go to a certain station.

It takes maybe 2 minutes for me to run through my list of kiddos, and I just circle where they go each day.  I have to copy this sheet on the front and back of a paper, as I have 26 kiddos.

I have not been able to figure out how to make this form editable for you, so right now it is a PDF.  As soon as I can figure out how to make an editable PDF I will go back in and update the current product.  (If anyone knows how to do it, and wants to teach me that would be amazing!!)

I hope that you all enjoy this freebie, and make sure you head on over to my friend Allison over at Stuckey in Second!

I have been trying to figure out how to get a blog button up on my side bar, and I have finally figured it out!  After a few people trying to help me, and sending me a code, and googling it, I found a great site!!

http://www.mycoolrealm.com/sandbox/gbgen/index.php

This site will do all of the work for you!!  All you have to do is put in your URL for your site, your URL for your image, and then you can adjust the way that box looks!  I was so excited to find it, and it was all FREE!!

I used photobucket to host my image, which is another free website to use!!  If you are a new blogger like me, and trying to figure things out, go check out both of these sites to make your blog button as well!!

Thank you again for everyone's help!!
Update!!  My TPT store is now open!!  Go check it out to get my first freebie!!  Mrs 3rd Grade

I'm so excited to be a part of my first blog hop!!  I am participating with some awesome new friends to give away something every Friday in October!!

I am in the process of setting up a TPT store, but for now you can get my first freebie right here!

This I have, who has is an awesome way to practice reading a clock to the quarter hour.  It has 26 cards, so you can have kids use more than one card if you have less than 26 kids!  The times are all in a quarter after, or a quarter til.  My students were really struggling with this concept, and they loved playing this game!  I hope that your kids will enjoy playing too!

Make sure you check out the next blog on the blog hop, Alison over at Stuckey in Second Grade!

You can start at the beginning with For His Glory Teaching, and follow from there too!!

You can check out Marie and Crystal at Once Upon a Classroom to check out more of the blog hop!
I am so excited to be linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy 4th Grade again this month!  I look forward to seeing everyone's posts, and to the great template she has for us every month!

I am listening to my new favorite Pandora station, Cornerstone (Live) Radio.  I love the song Cornerstone by Hillsong, and they don't play it often enough, but it is a great station to keep me in the right mindset.

I am loving our cooler weather.  Sure, it is still in the 90's, but at least we can wear jeans now!!  I am super excited for our Feed My Starving Children event taking place at school tomorrow.  My class is volunteering to work the 1-3 shift, and I can't wait to see how many boxes we can pack!!

I can't wait for Fall Break!! It is a much anticipated break!!  My baby girl, my mom and I will get to travel up to Northern California to visit family too!!  Plus I get to visit my 2nd grade teacher!!

I want to understand parents.  They never cease to amaze me.  Now that I am one, I can only pray that by going through these experiences I will be the best parent I can for the teachers.

I need a massage.  I have not had one in quite a while, and the stress is really getting to me!

My treat for you all is to come back in the morning! I am joining up with some new friends to give away something free every Friday in October for a Fall Giveaway!!
