I haven't done one of these activities forever! Thanks for the reminder! This would be a fun activity to do when we return from Spring Break... before we begin TESTING! I really like how each writer uses a different color, neat idea!Angela
That looks so fun! We like to write an oral essay with oral writing from WBT. :) Thanks for linking up! :)
Yes, thanks for the reminder about this! I bet your class had fun with the activity and mixing up the writing routine a little bit. Around Easter, we create a progressive story. I give the class the title, The Easter Bunny and the Egg. Each student has to write two sentences and pass the story along. Then, each student types their part ( without having read the rest of the story beyond their part) in computer lab and illustrates it using Kid Pix Studio. The class book turns out so stinkin cute!JeannineCreative Lesson Cafe
I am assuming the kids passed the paper and added ideas. I have done that before, and it's lots of fun. The stories are always interesting at the end. Glad you "shared" it. :-) I enjoy giving groups chart paper to work together on writing hooks and closings...that sort of thing.Carla
Such a great idea. I haven't tried this, but am adding it on my to-do list:) Thanks for sharing.TammyThe Resourceful Apple
