Meet the Teacher behind the Blog!

I love this idea that Stephanie from Falling Into First has going on right now!!  I love finding out more about the bloggers that I stalk follow, and I hope that this helps you learn a little bit more about me!!

My name is Cassandra, and I teach third grade!  I have been teaching third grade since 2008 at the same school.  I taught kindergarten my first year teaching, and I feel bad for those kids!  I know I wasn't a great kinder teacher, but at least I loved them!!

My husband and I got married in 2007, and our son was born in 2011!  He came earlier than we planned, but we are so blessed with his on the go life!!  Our baby girl was born last year, 2013!  She is our princess, and I am so lucky how much my kiddos LOVE each other!!

These are a few of my favorite things

Ice cream (Blue Bell)
Sonic Lemon Raspberry Slush

Hobby Lobby
(Can you tell I like to eat and shop?!)

If you weren't a teacher, what would you want to be?

I would love to be a stay at home mom if I could.  If that doesn't count as what else I would do, I would want to do something else with kids, maybe coaching something?

Three little words that describe you

Sarcastic, introvert, stubborn

Finish the sentence, "____________, said no teacher ever!"

I love grading papers, especially math papers or workbook pages, every night, said no teacher ever!

It's your birthday party and you can invite anyone you want (dead or alive) who would you invite?

I would invite my pops to my birthday party.  He died in 2001, way too soon.  He was always the life of the party, and I would love for my kids to meet him.

If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the title be?

Living the Dream
(Isn't it everyone's dream to be a teacher, working all hours of the day, raising kids, and working hard!?!)

You get to pick one super power, what is it?

I would love the ability to never get tired.  Can that be a super power?  I think I might have a clean house, and a home cooked meal every day if I never had to sleep!

What is your favorite quote or saying?

I LOVE the quote, "reach for the moon, and even if you miss you'll land among the stars!"

My favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:13, "For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says do not fear, I am with you."

If you had to sing one song on American Idol, what would it be?

Trust me, you don't want me up there singing!  I would be a blooper, or someone you feel sorry for!

Are you a morning person, or night owl?

I am for sure a night owl!!  If I know I don't have to get up early, I will stay up super late working or watching Netflix!  If I know my kids are home I try not to go to bed later than 10 or 10:30 because they like to have me up before six!!

What's your favorite resource you've created in your TPT store?

My favorite thing in my TPT store right now are my new thankful cards!  I can't wait to start using them with my kids on Thursday!!

This is what they look like in my room!  I am going to have my kids color their title card this Thursday, and add their first thankful card!  I can't wait to try this with them!!

Share something we may not know about you!

You may not know that I have a black belt in Kenpo!  I was in karate from third grade until the end of eighth grade.  I worked out at least three times a week, and my last year I was traveling an hour away to go to the gym where my instructor was.  I loved it, and put everything into it, but then I let cheer take over and stopped.  Sometimes I wish I would have stuck with it, and have thought about getting back into it, but now there is no time.

Make sure you go link up so I can learn more about you!!!
